Terms & Conditions

  • ProofStream provides a managed video testimonial service.

    Each month, ProofStream will:

    • Conduct one virtual customer testimonial interview

    • Provide the full unedited interview recording

    • Deliver one edited testimonial video (approximately 1–2 minutes)

    • Deliver two short-form social media clips

    All assets are delivered via shared cloud storage.

  • ProofStream operates on a monthly subscription basis.

    • The service is billed monthly in advance.

    • Payment is processed automatically using the payment method provided at checkout.

  • Clients may cancel their subscription at any time.

    Cancellation will stop future billing but does not refund the current billing period.

    Services remain active through the end of the paid month.

  • To successfully produce testimonial videos, the client agrees to:

    • Provide a list of customers who may be contacted for interviews

    • Send a ‘warm-up email’ written by ProofStream to those customers when appropriate

    • Assist in communication with customers if needed

    ProofStream will handle outreach, scheduling, interviewing, editing, and delivery.

  • ProofStream cannot guarantee that customers will agree to participate in interviews.

    If scheduling delays occur due to customer availability or response times, interviews may occur later than originally anticipated.

    ProofStream will continue outreach and scheduling efforts until an interview is completed.

  • Each month includes:

    • The deliverables in the Service Overview

    • Professional editing

    • One round of revision requests

    Additional revisions may incur additional fees.

  • Once delivered and paid for, the client receives full rights to use the video assets for:

    • Marketing

    • Website content

    • Advertising

    • Social media

    • Sales materials

    ProofStream may use excerpts of testimonial videos for portfolio or promotional purposes unless otherwise requested by the client.

  • All testimonial interviews are remotely recorded.

    Interview participants must consent to being recorded and to their testimonial being used publicly by the client.

    ProofStream may request a digital or recorded verbal consent prior to recording.

    Example of verbal request: “Before we start, I just want to confirm that you’re comfortable being recorded and that this interview may be used publicly by [Client Name] for marketing purposes.”

  • ProofStream conducts interviews but does not script or control the opinions expressed by interview participants.

    Testimonials reflect the authentic experiences and perspectives of the interviewees.

    Editing will be focused on sharing only their positive experiences with the client.

  • ProofStream does not guarantee:

    • Customer testimonial language to be exact to the client's goals

    • Specific language from interview participants

    • Marketing or sales results from testimonial use

  • ProofStream’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the current billing period.

    ProofStream is not responsible for statements made by interview participants.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut in which ProofStream operates.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring testimonial content complies with any applicable industry regulations, advertising standards, or disclosure requirements.
